Hi all,
I am currently running a Belkin G wireless router on
Win XP pro (32 bit). I am considering buying a new laptop running Win 7 64 bit - my question is will I have to update the router drivers (do Belkin call this the "Firmware").
I have looked on the Belkin website and can get no sense from it ?!?!?

Thanks for any help

You wont need drivers for the router, just attach it to the computer with an ethernet cable, if you need to set it up. No, Firmware isn't the same as drivers.

If you find you have to update (ie to connect)
then this is what you will require.

Routers are network devices to which computers connect using TCP/IP protocol, the operating system is immaterial - Windows, Mac, Linux etc. You don't need to update anything to be able to connect with Windows 7 64-bit.
