Belkin router problem

Can somebody please help me.

I bought a Belkin ADSL modem with in built wireless G router 54MBPS 4 weeks ago as I joined TalkTalk.

Since the second day I have been experiencing problems with the Router.

Between the hours of 9am (ish) and 10pm (ish) I can't seem to connect to the internet. Every light on the router except the power light keeps flashing continuously until it connects to the net.

I have spoken to Belkin, who were useless, and they said I needed to ask my ISP to run a line test.

TalkTalk ran a test said the line fine.!?

Has anyone experinced the same problem? If so what was the cause and how did you fix it?

Is it plugged into the main phone socket?

No, it is plugged into an ADSL connector which is then plugged into my main phone socket.

A filter, are all the other phones on filters and sky box?

Does the phone work ok during those hours

The phone works fine all the time.

I should also have said that I have already tried using a different filet, which hasn't solved the problem.

I would take the matter up with talk talk it looks like their problem.

The only other thing to check would be to borrow (if you dont have one) a USB modem and try that, at least then you can tell Talk Talk you cant connect with anything.

A router cannot specifically cause outages between certain times unless a time-based block has been enabled, and Belkins do not have that feature.

Ok, I will try to connect using a USB Modem before contacting TT.

Thanks for your help.
