I am running a computer on the above router and my wife is in next room connected up wirelessly to me. The computer she is using is some 4 years old with under 1GB memory, it has a 802.11G Belkin card fitted. It just keeps disconneting, when you click on repair it sometimes works. If not, and you click on the card 802.11G it takes you to the country codes and is always set to United states of America 1/11 when you change it to United Kingdom 1/13 it connects up again. When it fails again and you go to card it is back to USA 1/11. Any ideas how to stop this disconnection problem? Cheers Diesel48

Are you letting Windows connect or the Belkin software? I had this sort of problem on an old XP machine with the connection keep dropping with a Belkin USB dongle connected.
Allowing Windows to run the connection was more reliable.

Try going into the router settings via http. I think with Belkin it is usually 192.168.1.2, but check this with the Belkin site and the router model.

Then ensure that the settings are put to UK and also for g-type as well as n-type. Also, try changing the channel (same page as router settings). It may be set at 6. If so, change to 11. (Or the other way if already set to 11).
