Belkin ADSL2+ Wireless G Mimo Router FSD 9630+4

I bought this router around 8 months ago from PC World (and suspect it might be an older model). I can't remember the exact cost but it was between £60 - £80.

It seemed to perform well when my ISP was Orange(an otherwise dire ISP in my opinion)but I changed to BT in July and have had problems ever since.

The connection drops 6 - 9 times a day and it is driving me crackers.

My question is - is the problem likely to be down to BT or the router itself?

I have since bought a BT hub as a back stop but have not yet commissioned it - mainly because I feel that the Belkin should work properly and am reluctant to dismiss it unless it is absolutely necessary.

By 'connection drops' I mean that the light on the Belkin turns red and I have to remove the power cord and re-connect - ie re-boot - for it to work.

I have been having the same problem. Sometimes I can connect by rebooting - ie removing the power lead, and sometimes by rebooting on the router page. This can happen several times a day - or on good days only once.

Please - does anyone have any ideas?
