hi All my laptop returned recently from the PC people because it was playing up so i took it in. now it is back I get this icon on the taskbar bda TV monitor, it is not doing anything as far as i am aware, i do not know what program installed it or what it does, I am just a little worried that it may be spy ware, one never knows. There is not a lot of information on Google; I am a bit worried uninstalling it in case some program needs it. Your thoughts and suggestions please

It's not spyware, hgrock, it's called "Broadcast Driver Architecture" click here Is there a TV tuner installed in your laptop?

As MAJ points out, it appears to refer to BDA drivers for a TV card or USB stick.

Some of these devices use WDM drivers, but the BDA drivers are usually required for more recent devices.
