I just had to restart my computer as there was an error BCCode : 9C showing, so my computer shut down to protect itself.
I have investigated and look into Event viewer in administrative tools and that is how it is logged :
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The buckcheck was 0X0000009C.......
A dump was saved in : C:\WINDOWS\..........
What is a bugcheck, and what is a dump?
Do I need to do anything else, my computer is working fine now,I am just trying to understand why this error happened and maybe try to prevent it in the future.

The dump is just a report of what happened when windows encountered a problem. It can be used to diagnose a problem. Bugcheck is as it says, windows checking for bugs which caused the failure and then it can appemt to fix itself.

If it does happen again, note what you where doing at the time and post here...

Thanks STREETWORK, but I wasn't doing anything at the time, I left my computer to do something, and when I came back the blue screen was there telling me that it had to shot down because of an error, I restarted and that's when a window came out to tell me of the BBCode. I have a screensaver starting after 5 minutes of inactivity, maybe it's that that interfered with the bugcheck.

Start, Run, type

eventvwr

and click OK. Check for any errors.
