bbc i player

i tried to install bbc i player but it would not work,i am in Ireland is it only available in the UK? does anyone know or can i get it thanks

Taken from BBCiPlayer FAQs

Rights agreements mean that BBC iPlayer television programmes are only available to users to download or stream (Click to Play) in the UK. However, BBC Worldwide is working on an international version, which we will make available as soon as possible.

Hi patso - I use iPlayer myself, and if I should notice when the International version is available I will draw it to your attention
