battlefield 2 graphics compatability

  dave_johnston2k 13:18 09 Jul 2006

A few months back I purchased a new computer on which I was really looking forward to playing battlefield 2.

As it turns out, the Nvidia GTX 7800 256mb card is not supported. I dont get that as Nvidia is the flagship graphics card sponsor for the game.

Anyone else found a solution for this problem?

see if there are any patches for the game as you will not be the only one with this problem, also get the latest nvidia microsoft approved graphics driver.

It is supported. I was playing bf2 only a few minutes ago with my 7800GTX (with all settings on high).

Its just that the card came out after BF2 (i think) and so is not one of the "original" supported cards.

Its a great card and will run it very well.

I have given up on it. After installing the game and SF expansion pack, title comes up then it crashes out.

Will get it on the 360. lol

Thanks very much for the help tho.
