Could someone please tell where I can get a Battery discharger for AA & AAA batteries. I already have the charger but would like just the discharger on it's own. Not too expensive.

What do you use the batteries in? That will discharge them quite nicely!

I use a suitable battery holder and use a 10ohm (10Watt) resistor scross the terminals. Crude but effective.

For my radio controlled aircraft batteries I use a car headlamp bulb - easy to see when it's almost flat (important as they can go reverse polarity). They are 4.8 volt, so a lower wattage bulb could be used for 1.2 cells (or wire a number up in series).
