Batch file for XP Updates

I use 'Notify' instead of 'Automatic Updates'. Is there a program (like a batch file) which can be used to install the updates, without User involvement, once I have checked them. I have heard about 'Qchain', used by IT administrators, but I am not sure whether it applies to home users.

Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

All about Qchain - it appears to be what you are looking for click here

Qchain seems to be the only way. Have downloaded the various MS Technet articles and will give it a go. Once again, thanks for the link. Will mark as resolved.

Well to have them install without user involvement you would have;

start "" /wait WindowsMedia-KB911564-x86-ENU.exe /quiet /norestart

/wait - Wait until it's finished installing before it goes to the next one.

/quiet - no user involvement.

/norestart - of those updates that require a restart, don't restart.
