backing up emails

Hi I amm about to reformat my machine and was wondering if there is anyway that I can back up all my mails that are saved in outlook express s that I can reload then when i reinstall windows??

Just go to file/save as and save them to floppy or CD.

the folders you need to back up have the extension dbx. you also need to back up your address book file (this has a wab extension)

i just discovered the folders and backed them onto a disc, how do i load them back into outlook once I have reformatted?

posted my thread before I refreshed so yours was not visible to me but we both have a similar problem. All my mailboxes are saved as .dbx but I cannot get them to restore....see my thread for more details.

I have my email store folder set to a folder called Email in My Documents. That way it automatically gets backed up with the rest of my documents.
