My computer keeps asking for permision to conect to the internet with a program called backweb.exe. any idea as to what this program is. thank you.

What is he best way to get rid of backweb I have run search on my system and have found 11 files related to backweb

BackWeb is a program which is used by some outfits such as Kodak, HP/Compaq and F-Secure for updating. Make sure that you don't need it before deleting. There has been a couple of previous threads on this subject. Try putting BackWeb in the search bar.

ran spybot in the end found and temoved.
appears to be related to logitec webcam.

Hi I had the same problem with my logitech cam unistalled it and reinstalled the program but when it came to updates and registering with logitch I chose not to have automatic updates or to register this got rid of back web hope this helps kopite
