avi files to vhs video

I have some .avi movies on my PC that I shot on my digicam (Canon s45). I now transfer movies straight from camera to VHS video before I move them to the PC (it's easier for the extended family to watch them on the TV), and want to add the movies that are on the PC.

What's the best/cheapest way to do this? I guess I need a video card and software - what do people recommend? I have a P450 running win98, and don't have a tv-out socket.

You need a video-out socket, so your best bet is to search for the cheapest/best video card with that feature. Any necessary software for a straight download will probably come with it.

If you want to edit your movies before recording them onto VHS, you'll need an editing software also. Pinnacle click here do some decent packages at reasonable prices.

Excellent - thanks for the advice
