Has anyone yet sussed out how to direct AVG8 to the areas you need scanned?

I have 3 large hard drives in my computer case and it takes hours to scan them all!

If you open the user interface then go to Computer Scanner, to the right you can 'change scan settings'. Is this what you mean?

Do you need to 'open up' computer by pressing on the negative symbol to the left of the little TV screen to the left of it?

My understanding is that you need to put a tick in the box that you want it to scan, but this is for a manual scan, not the automatic one which starts at the time you select.

don't know if that can be changed via the interface.

I still haven't found the answer to my question. But after deleting over 400 cookies and other adware that the programme through up, it is now working much quicker!

to right click on the file you want to scan then click on 'Scan with AVG free'.
