never understand why these reminders have to keep appearing. if we are serious about our security we should be checking ourselves.

Being on NTL Broadband, every time I boot my computer AGV automatically updates if there are any. So I don't need to be reminded either.

G'day Sethhaniel, I have not really deserted you but I have installed F Secure which does it all. I have not had 1 piece of anything at all suspicious intruding on my computer. I am totally
happy with this program although it is not free, but at a discount for Barclays online customers.

Theres no need for reminders if the update manager properties is configured to automaticaly check for updates
