y 1 please.
thanks.ive downloaded avg but when i download the updates i get a message saying internet virus database version is 268. 18. 13/725 and was released on the 17/03/07 The date of the database is reported as newer than the current......
And it wont update .. any ideas an

I presume you're talking of AVG Anti-virus?

Are you sure that you've downloaded the newest version 7.5 click here

If you have 7.1, view this by clicking on the help option at the top bar, grisoft are no longer supporting you and you must install the new 7.5.

Is your Computer clock right?

Without the full text of the error message I'm guessing that your system clock may be slow and the programme is refusing to update because the time stamp is in the future according to your PC.

if that is the AVG then the details you have are the latest; mine has just updated and I show that of yesterday

cheers mate i think my hard drive is not well,as i keep getting a meesage kernel datta inpage error..an the dreaded blue screen.
Im going too order a new hard drive of ebay and start all over again plus i hear a clicking from th Hd now an again.
