Anyone tell me what the problem is, I keep getting message internal virus database is out of date. The icon in sys tray is gray, I have tried checking for updates but it says there is none. I am running the free version of AVG.

The automatic updates in AVG are so wrong. I don't feel safe.

My computer has failed to boot on a number of occassions and then after several attempts gone into the bios settings. At the right hand side in red it said Caution: According to CPU external frequency setting, system memory can only operate at frequency higher than or equal to 333 MHz, please make sure the DRAM maximum frequency is not less than 333MHz. I noted that the memory frequency MHz was set to Auto, is it best to leave it alone or attempt to change it? if it is possible to do that. When I exited bios choosing to save changes, the computer booted ok. Thanks for any advice.

I entered the CPU frequency settings problem under the AVG problem. I have done it again as a new post.
