Hi folks.
I picked up win32.agent.pz and win32.zbot over the weekend using a hotel wirelss in France.
Dell Vostro, AVG free, AdAware and Spybot. XP Pro SP3.
Spybot picked up 3 entries of agent and 5 of zbot. Did I want to remove - yes. BUT it seems to leave bits on the registry. This is getting all too complicate for me so rang Dell and the suggestion was "re-install" which is how I will spend my evening.
AVG did pick them up and Help/Support is only with paid versions and although I can create an account is doesn't do anything.
Anyone receommend a better AV than AVG?
At present am having to completely reinstall as system started locking at the Welcome screen!
Any other help or advice is welcome too.
No- not naughty sites, just to access my email online and look at a couple of town homepages.
Thanks

Use A2free click here to clear your machine of infections.

The free version runs when you tell it to, however the pay version runs in the background all the time.

Personally I use a compnay called 'Stop-Sign', and have done a few years with no problems. It is a pay site, but at the end of the day, you pay for your Computer , software, and Internet connection.
Is this any different. You only get what you pay for.
