I am using AVG 7.1, but would like to upgrade to the new 7.5 edition. Is there any chance that PCA will put the new edition on a cover disc, and will it run on Windows 98. I do not want to spent an hour downloading.Glen
Win 98 will only 'take' up to version 6.5As per ZA siteclick here(bottom of page)
AVG has nothing to do with ZoneAlarm...:-)
Grisoft will support 7.1 until around the middle of January.
It is the free edition of AVG 7.5 I want, and I am receiving the CD version of PCA. Does anyone know if it will appear on a PCA CD cover disc?Glen
I haven't got the current copy of PCA handy but there's a list of editorial and other contacts, including the CD editor, in the magazine complete with, IIRC, phone and e-mail details.Forum members are not likely to be aware of what future editions of the magazine will contain on its CD and DVD disks.
I believe AVG 7.5 will run on Windows 98 click here
Yes, AVG Anti-Virus and Anti- Spyware is on the Jan 2007 DVD supplied by PC Advisor.
Should have added 7.5
Sinsere apologies, It`s only a 90 day licence
D'oh!Got a bit mixed up there :>Must be the constant reminders telling me an updated ZA is available only for me to download it and find it's not compatible with Win98 !?!?!I have set the 'remind me later' bit but it will be back......
