The email functionality of AVG (ie. check for viruses), does anyone else have problems with this and what are your settings currently set at?

I've got this turned on as well as using Zone Alarm.

Do I need both and which would be preferred?

Thanks for that. I'm missing the AVG add on for Microsoft Outlook. However, I've tried to type in my license number (add/remove components) but it won't work.

Is the best thing to wipe off AVG and then start over again?

Will the Microsoft Outlook add-on work on the free edition?

Certainly, AVG will work seamlessly with Outlook. I've recently installed that very configuration for a client without any issues.

Sometimes, Yes, it is better to start from scratch again.

Thanks, I needed to obviously re-install the free version. Works fine now.
