AVG and Incredimail

I got fed up with NAV and decided to go with the Free Version of AVG. So far very happy. One question though.

The emial protection only covers Outlook. I use Incredimail, does this mean I'm at risk of email bound viruses? Is there a workaround?

The way my incredimail is set-up, is via Outlook and the ISP Pop3. Incredimail doesn't take my email direct from the internet, so I have no problems with posible virus attacks.

Not sure what you mean. If it's connected through Outlook what's the point in using Incredimail? Or am I confused.

I use OE but I posted a thread similar to this click here
To sum up, you won't be warned on receipt. When suspect mail is received, you need to transfer to another folder, then back, which will give AVG another chance to scan. Of course you need to be vigilant or you could get caught out.
