AVG e mail scanning and Zone alarm Pro

I am using AVG free version as an e mail scanner for viruses. Zone Alarm Pro also has an e mail scanner. Is it advisable to use both, or should I disable it in Z A Pro, please. AB68

If, by any chance, ZA prevents AVG from collecting e-mails then add two files from the AVG folder - avginet.exe and avgimec.exe - to Program Control and grant them access permission.

Not likely but the situation can arise.

Going on ......how efficient is the Zone Alarm e mail protection, does anyone know, please. Is it up to AVG or Norton standards?

I've always use the AV version of an e-mail scanner such as that of AVG and, currently, Avast! and disabled the firewall equivalent.

Yes, thats what I am doing at the moment, using AVG and disabling ZA.
