Just five days after version 4.7.981 was released, you can now acquire version 4.7.986 from:

Forgot to say it is actually downloaded from the Avast! website and you only need to use the Update if you already have version 4.7.981.

Thanks for that Stuartli, its always best to have the very latest version.

Thanks, Stuartli. It`s a bit unusual this, isn`t it? Two new versions in such quick succession; any idea as to what is going on?

The change log explains it.click here Thanks for the heads up Stuartli, I was staring to get complacent!

Thank you

Glad, I use a paid-for A/V that doesn't require Smoke Rings to alert me to the latest, dated updates.

  provider 2 11:38 19 Apr 2007

Not updates, riiverstock, "new versions". Avast! updates automatically.

There was a an advisory notice for version 4.7.981 but not for 4.7.986 as far as I know.
