Automatic Restore Points

I am using Microsoft XP. How do I setup Automatic Monthly Restore Points. Any help would be appreciated. Weejohn28.

You should also be aware that Restore will not protect your data; it only works for the OS - more specifically the Registry.

If you wish to backup you data and/or the OS on a regular basis your will need software such as Acronis True Image. This will permit scheduled backup of whatever you chose to a location of your choice on an automatic basis once set.

Seagate DiscWizard (a version of Acronis) if you have a Seagate drive anywhere installed. Ext or Int.

Or use EASEUS Todo backup.

I believe SyncToy may also be used for backups as well as syncs.

...Restore Points should be used frequently.

eg Before installing a new application or tinkering with your system or even before you go to bed.

I make several a day.

W7 allows me to monitor how much disk space they are taking and delete old ones.

Can't remember if XP allows that.
