I have just used this programme to defreag my laptop and it then tells me that i have 127 registry file errors.
Should i use the same Auslogics to correct these errors, there is another Auglogics prog to do this apparently, or is thee a better programme to use?
Thanks in advance.
Coming back to the subject of Auslogics defrag program. I recall trial using that program when it first came into existence, and had a few problems with it. So I have just downloaded the latest version, and intend to have a play around with it over the next few weeks, and see the end results are!.
I use Auslogics regularly just to defrag, - quicker than W7's one. Just do not bother with the "System Health" (and registry) tab. As has been pointed out, CCleaner is a safe registry cleaner. Other registry cleaners find hundreds of apparent snags, but to try to put things right can cause major problems - out of all proportion to the tiny space saved.
Well I have had a little play around with some of the Auslogic products, and found out why I removed them from my computer systems previously.
The defrag is certainly faster, and seems to do the job intended. But going into the registry part like using 'Booster', seems to pick up 447 faults, which I know are not there or are even a problem.
So for me, it is a case of continuing using CCleaner, which I know is more reliable for my use, plus I will continue to evaluate Auslogic defrag, until the trial period expires. I have no intentions of possibly paying for a product that is like many others out there, especially if there is a 'upgrade' fee involved.
