If you have got Windows Media Player that will do it. Use the Rip tab.

To rip a CD to MP3s you need a program like CDEX click here . unfortunately because the MP3 encoding process is not open source, most free programs will not natively rip files to MP3.

Do do this you will need to download a file called lame_enc click here then tell CD-EX where to fine the DLL file.

You should now be able to rip CDs to MP3.

If this sounds too complicated, and your MP3 player is able to play WMA files then you could use Windows Media Player (already built into windows) to rip the CDs, many people (I'm one of them) believe that WMA is a better audio format than MP3 but many MP3 players (iPods especially) cannot play the tracks.
