Audio to cell phones

We produce .wav audio files of English words that Greek students need for their English course. Currently we produce CD's but, as Walkman is now "old hat" we want to download to cell phones.
I have Switch from NCH that allows me to convert .wav to any other audio file type.
Is here a simple way to put the files onto a cell phone?
Will the method by cell-phone-make specific? If so, where would I get info?

I think the easiest way would be to just keep producing them on CD's, as the vast amount of people have access to a cd player, i.e. hifi, or a cd drive on a PC or laptop.

I can imagine that you would run into problems with certain brands of cell phone may be not been able to play a certain sound format or a certain sample rate. I had a cell phone once that would not play MP3 at certain sample rates, or it could have been wav.

Alot of mobiles that record sound as .amr files
Have a look at MIKSOFT AMR converter click here it allows you to convert .mp3 .wav <-> .amr
