attatchment warning

I sent a link to a friend but his zonealarm warned him not to open it. He told me I had a possible virus so I updated and then ran my avg
anti virus. The scan was clean. What could be the reason? Could I have a virus that avg failed to spot?
The link I sent was to click here.

I don't think you will have a virus; I think it is just his security settings that are identifying a possible risk in your email.
I had something similar recently when an email I sent that had a webpage shortcut (in html) was rejected by his ISP and was only accepted when I inserted many spaces into the address.
