Attachments in Outlook Express

I have sent an e mail to a pal with four attachments of scanned images of a document. The mail has arrived OK but it has no attachments. Is this a setting problem in OE? I hasten to add they have just acquired a new computer with, presumably, Vista, and they think the problem may be there!

If your pal opens Outlook Express and looks under Tools, Options, Security tab he will find settings there that may be blocking your images.
e.g. "Block images and other external content in HTML e-mail"
or "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus".

Thanks for that. I will get in touch and let them know.

This has been resolved. They eventually received the attachments by some means, though I am not sure what they did!!
