Well problems with new motherboard..........?
It comes with ASUS Post Reporter to verbally tell you any post problems bearing in mind everything in the PC is Brand New but when I switch the machine on the verbal message is "System failed due to CPU over-clocking" ....?

What over-clocking......brand new chip.......... heatsink fan all new cant even get into the bios ......?

Does this mean the chip is U/S.......?

System Specs are Opteron processor 140,2 X 120GB Western Digital 8Mb Cahe 7200rpm Hard drives, 1024 Mb HyperX PC4000 memory, Nividia 5950 256Mb Gainward Graphics card, Audigy Platinum Sound,Floppy.........

Any Help would be appreciated...........

Thankyou in advance

If the CPU is overclocked then you will need to adjust jumper setting(s). Have a look at the MB manual.
