Asus P4R800-VM Help with Drivers

  Giggle n' Bits 23:30 20 Jan 2005

I am installing the Drivers that came with the Motherboard from the Asus CD.

Because this Motherboard has Intergrated ATI Radeon 9100 IGP chipset & ATI 9200 intergrated VGA I am a bit stuck because I have a Nvidia 128MB FX5200 Card installed and don't want to install the ATI VGA Drivers.

What I am stuck with how do I install just the Motherboard Chipset Drivers without the ATI Drivers ?

The CD option shows install the "ATI All in One Drivers" the nearest to custom install options it offer is AGP Gart Support & ATI SM Bus Driver.

Can someone tell me if this will also install ATI VGA Drivers or will it know if there is a Nvidia AGP Card Fitted.

If anyone can help and needs more info please ask me.

Thank you back shortly, going checking ebay.

No problems here !!!

Just install ALL the motherboard drivers then `reboot` then install the graphics card drivers, and so on.

In simple terms the pc will see that you are using the ` graphics card`

Rapid response !.

I usually build on VIA Chipsets but this ATI with a Intel is a bit of a change.

Thank you again Jessie
