bottom, underneath the last PCI slot.

Yes that is the floppy.

It's the other blue one that is in the corner, just below the power connecter.

Looks to me looking at the board like a IDE black one if not is it the blue one on the right on its edge. Hear it says IDE is a Header so looks like it the Blue one on the left click here

most boards now come with just one IDE slot that can take 2 devices. The rest are SATA :-(

yeah, so it was either sata dvd at £18 or a new hard drive at £32, so i went for the dvd rw because i have two hard drives anyway and wouldnt have been able to use the other one. Only one ide but they still put a floppy connector on this board, whats all that about.
