Aspire One 512mb 160gb hdd with Linux Lite

Bought this a few weeks ago and it is excellent in all respects except 1.

As it is Linux I cant add it to my home network which uses windows, I have genuine windows XP disk so want to install on the Aspire.

The installation starts but fails with blue screen of death afer several minutes.

I think I need to reformat the aspire to remove linux first.

Can anyone offer advice on how to do this please??

Firstly, I am surprised that you say theere is a problem getting Linux to work with your home network. There is a standard package "Samba" which is designed to do exactly that. Have you tried installing Samba?
