ARGOS - mikomi card reader

  suedenude 14:07 12 Jan 2008

Can someone plese help.
I have just bought a usb card reader from argos - it was only £7.99 but i wouls still expect it to work.
The reader installs no probs but when i try to access a card it tells me to insert a disk in drive E.
I have tried 2 Tevion 2GB cards from Aldi & a 128mb Lexar sd card and still nothing.
I have tried on my Toshiba laptop & advent tower pc but cant get it to work.

What operating system are you using?

I found the mikomo multi card reader was a problem but the single sd reader works perfectly
Take it back and try another

Easy to say after the event but a search on google brought up several instances of people having the same problem and a return trip to Argos for a replacement/refund was the general consensus.

I see you mentioned you have a laptop.I would suggest that you take it with you and try your replacement on site before driving home!

If it is of any help I took a chance last week and ordered from here
Arrived within 5 days. Installed itself and works fine. Pasted 2gbs of music onto a Toshiba SD.
