Application not found

This is confusing me, just switched to Vista home premium. When I type into Google I.E. " lloyds bank", then make a short cut on to desktop.
When I click on that icon all I am getting is Application not found? So have to go through Google everytime. Hope soeone can assist many thanks in advance.

Why clutter your desktop with shortcuts? Instead add it to your Favourites and then have Favourites showing when you click on the Start Orb. That way you can go to any of your favourites and any one of them will automatically start IE.
