I am with AOL wireless broadband, however over the past few weeks the signal keeps dropping and then it will not connect at all even though it says the signal strength is good. If it helps my router is in the backroom and I mainly use the computer in the front room.
Should I contact AOL or is there another solution?
My AOL problems were cleared when I used WPA Pre-shared key encryption, and turned off Mac Address access facility. Also, AOL really likes an MTU of 1400 only. Remember, long, cheap extension leads to the main telephone socket are really a NO NO - as they can dissipate the signal to nothing...
