AOL and Ipaq pocket PC

Hi there i am an AOL BB user. I have got a Ipaq 5550 Pocket PC. Do i need a specific piece of software so i can log on via a card Modem? I have tried to do it but when it connects it keeps on saying Error. Many thanks

I'm pretty sure you'll need AOL's own software, whatever kind of connection you use. Somewhere on their web site is a page for downloading software for Palm and other popular brands.

Many thanks for the info. AOL indeed have released software which allows you to log on with a Pocket PC , but alas it is only compatible with Pocket PC 2002 as opposed to 2003 and only available in the US/Canada due to technical reasons.

Interesting. I've logged on in UK and US using a Palm with AOL's software. They're evidently not supporting the iPaq to the same extent.
