AOL Connection

Hi everyone, Iam new here

OK...Can someone help me here.

My ISP is AOL. Everytime I connect to the internet (I have broadband) I have to open the AOL program. If I want to play games online I have to keep this program open. This uses up quite a bit of memory. Is there anyway I can connect to AOL Broadband and quit the program but keep the connection running?

Is there something I have to do?
Is there a program I should dl?

Thanks in advice for any help. This is quite urgent.

You're being silly now! How on earth do you expect to remain connected if you close the program? It doesn't use up any memory any road up!

What you can do is minimise AOL browser and open another, eg Internet Explorer or Opera.
