i want to switch form the horrible Aol Broadband To Freeserve Boradband. As my line is all set up and as i have a dsl modem. Can i just Join freeserve and be ready to go instantly, is it that simple?

Also do you all reccommend Freeserve for fast, easy and reliable broadband connections?

Thanks,

look at click here to compare speeds...etc

you will probably find a number of providers that offer cheaper deals than freeserve here too

Not sure, but think you need a release code from AOL to give to Freeserve, so that they can enable your transfer. j.

Whats wrong with AOL BB? its fast, stable and the pings are quick.

Have you been with AOL BB for twelve months? Has your contract with them expired?

  livewire 17:10 29 Jul 2003

I have been with Aol 's rubbish service for over 12 months and really want to cancel and go to freeserve!

  The Sack 17:22 29 Jul 2003

so come on then whats rubbish about it? A reason would be nice and you never know you might any problems sorted out.

  Djohn 17:58 29 Jul 2003

If you go to the ADSL guide, and use the compare program, you will see that AOL is in front of Freeserve in all three categories. Speed/reliability/help. j.

No i really think freeserve is much better than aol becuase Aol always crashes, i barely ever get connected and the speeds are slow. Plus i don't want to have to use the aol software. i just want to use a mozzila connection.
