Just today, I keep getting a balloon pop-up with this message:- C:\Documents and Settings\my name\Local Settings\Application Data\AOL\User Profiles\1178716533\myname\metrics\cmls_ms.tlv is corrupt and unreadable. And it tells me to run Chkdsk utility, which I have, but it still keeps popping up.
Have run anti-v, spyware, ccleaner, but no joy. Anyone any ideas?? Please..
thnx brundle, I did a google too! Not sure if I have cracked it, but went for a restart, and the computer went into the blue screen chkdsk as opposed to the dos interface. Noticed it deleted several files, one of which was the cmls_ms.tlv. Since the restart & chkdsk the pop up hasn't reappeared, but am still curious as to what the thing was... thnx 4 ur response anyhow
