i am going to buy a laptop from but am unsure what kind of warrant you get with the laptop anyone know ?

Is this the mail-order catalogue? If so think about technical backup. They won`t give it, but will obviously recommend another party. IMHO
I would not buy from a mail order catalogue.
You don`t have to answer this bit but if you need to purchase on credit I suggest you look elsewhere. Try PC World, or Dell. All the best anyway.

I have used them to buy lots of things, so has a colleague at work and we've never had any problem at all with the, their customer support seems good.

You get a 1 year warranty from Acer wherever you buy it from unless you buy an extended warranty. You can get these reasonably priced elsewhere for example click here
