Any good reason not to go to WMP10

I've just installed XP SP2 (switching from ME).

I had WMP9 on ME and XP SP2 came with WMP9 as well.

Is there any good reason not to upgrade to WMP10?

thanks for that Acolyte, but I was rather hoping for views based on forum members experience.

Well based on mine,i cant see any reason not to upgrade, apart from it will only work with XP,it has always behaved ok for me.To be honest i only use it for watching video clips i have downloaded,i have other apps for music and dvd,and you also need a dvd codec to watch dvd's with it you can get this from the MS site though.
Having said that it depends what you want to do with it as version 9 will do most version 10 can so its down to choice i guess.

Having had problems with previous versions, I cannot see an upgrade to version 10 is going to make much difference!!.

I find WMP10 works equally as well as previous versions - its only setback, for me at least, is that the earlier editions had much more comprehensive links to radio stations than WMP10.
