I looked in event viewer as i have been having a few problems and this is what it said : WARNING! Windows saved user registry while an application or service was still using the registry during log off. The memory used by the user's registry has not been freed. The registry will be unloaded when its no longer in use.

This is often caused by services running as a user account, try configuring the services to run in either the local service or Network Service account.

What does this mean? and how do i sort it out?

Many Thanks

I would not worry!

It will unload the registry when it is free.

It ussually happens when you shut down.

Thanks Gaz 25. I just found it but all the programs are running either local or network service so i am not sure if Norton antivirus could cause this? I dont know if this could be the cause of my system crashing over the last week?
