Antivirus software

Hi I have been using Antivirus Expert for nearly 3 years and have never had a problem with it, (this software is now known as BitDefender), but recently I have had problems updating the software, I have contacted Softwin who make this software but they have so far been unhelpful, therefore I fear a reinstallation may have to occur. If so, I am considering changing my antivirus software, can anyone suggest a very good, free antivirus program? I have heard a lot of people mention AVG.

AVG Free Editon is a VERY good piece of software.

One only finds out how good (or bad) a AV is when it meets a attack. I put all my faith in Norton

Do not forget, that any Antivirus software is only fully affective, as its latest update.

I have used Grisoft AVG freebie for a long time, and it never let me down yet. Great programme.
