Like Howard64 I use AVG Anti-Virus and have had no problems with it.

The best paid for ones are undoubtadly NOD32 and Kaspersky.
Free ones AVG or AVAST.
I use AVG free, mainly because it was the first free one I tried and I liked it, kept me virus free for about 3 years now.
Theres no need to pay, the free ones are good enough as long as you use a bit of common sense. If you don't and just go anywhere to all sorts of dodgy sites then the best antivirus in the world won't help you, you'll still get hit by viruses.
A bit of common sense goes a long way to keeping you protected and an up to date antivirus of course.

You posted an item about Bullguard at the following link click here which shows as resolved. You then sent me a personal email with a query. I have replied to that email on the Bullguard item and not by returning your email.
