I am just at the end of my year's subscription to Norton Anti-Virus and Firewall and System Works. I noticed a discussion on this forum about what anti-virus software to buy and that set me thinking of maybe not just renewing my subscription. From the discussion is seemed that Norton is excessive and that Trend Micro Internet Security seems to be a good bet.

If I decide to go for this, will it cause any problems with the Norton stuff already installed or will the uninstall shield get rid of all the Norton. Would the installation of the Trend Micro Internet Security provide for deleting the Norton stuff or would this have to be done before trying to install the TMIS?

You need to uninstall Norton from Control Panel/Add or Remove programs before installing a different anti-virus.
