Hi Guys

It it possible or advisable to run two av's at the same time .Ie Norton and AVG on XP Home.

Not really - they tend to argue and cause conflicts.

Why would you want to run avg if you have norton. Would you choose to drive a ford if you also owned a mercedes? Get rid of avg (which I'd like to point out (before I get clobbered by avg lovers)is better than nothing if you want free anti-virus) and remember update your antivirus software at least once a week.

Get AVG, it is free click here and you will be OK from viruses. Even if you do get infected by a new virus, the removal is fairly easy. There is an awful lot of hype regarding viruses.

Just as a note for anyone else reading:

AVG and Avast are both excellent FREE antiviruses, but do keep them up-to-date.
