Anti-Spyware and RUNDLL dialogue

  cigfran 23:18 10 Mar 2007

After reading April's pcadvisor I decided to upgrade my anti-spyware.
I trialled Webroot's Spy Sweeper, PCTools' Spyware Doctor, Lavasoft's Adaware and because the VirusBurst removal tool from anti-spyware-101 was suggested I used their Spy Hunter.
The results:- Spy Sweeper and Adaware found nothing.
Spy Hunter reported a Zlob Trojan, Spy Doctor a Backdoor.Darkmoon.

After using Spy Doctor to remove Darkmoon I now get the following RUNDLL dialogue on logging on.

Error loading:

The specified module could not be found.

There appears to be no problem with my computer, however.

Any comments or suggestions would be gratefully receieved. Thanks

Found this through Google in answer to your question. I hope it helps.

DLCCtime.dll is located in a subfolder of C:\Windows\System32. Known file sizes on Windows XP are 69632 bytes (66% of all occurrence), 73728 bytes.
The program has a visible window. There is no information about the maker of the file. It is a trustworthy file from Microsoft. The program is loaded during the Windows boot process (see Registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run). File DLCCtime.dll is not a Windows core file. Therefore the technical security rating is 6% dangerous.

Gandalph, thanks for the effort in answering my post. Clearly an esoteric problem! I am not sure where to go with the problem, do I;

1) go to microsoft and see if I can get to file an re-install it,
2) ignore the problem and remove the dialogue box (if so how)?

I am not a techie and so I sould do with advice.

Thanks once again.
