In my school the IT support staff have a habit of filtering our music sites, we have been searching for away to get passed these but to no avail. Is there a way we can get passed these filters and how?

Probably - but no-one here is going to tell you how to get around your schools policy.

Since when is itunes not legal? - or lots of other sites?

Well I already said it shouldn't be done - I can't imagine it's illegal though.

do anything illegal.

However the school does not want to be the IP Address that is downloading a load of P2P stuff. Apart from anything else, it will slow their connection down and possibly Crash the Network which will not have been designed to carry such loading.
