Another printer problem

I've just discovered after not using it for a couple of days that my printer was refusing to come on. Eventually I got round to checking the fuse in the adaptor plug and found that it had gone. I replaced it with a fuse of the same value i.e. one amp and it worked fine on my shaver. so I plugged the printer in to it. As the printer still wasn't working I began to think the worst. but decided to try my shaver again and found that wasn't working either. So I upgraded to a two amp fuse. The shaver worked beautifully and so I tried it with the printer again and this time it worked. So I am wondering now what is the correct fuse for these gadgets. For all I know I could maybe use a thirteen amp fuse? Can anyone enlighten me please?

MCE2K5. Many thanks that's all I wanted to know. It's working fine on a two amp fuse at present but at least when it goes again I will know why and how to cure it. For good I hope?
